Walking Group

Our Walking Group is for members of all ages and abilities who want to enjoy the great outdoors, stay active, and connect with others in a relaxed, friendly setting. Whether you’re a seasoned walker or taking your first steps into a new hobby, you’ll find a warm welcome.

From gentle coastal strolls and countryside rambles to more challenging hill walks, we explore a variety of routes across the Island throughout the year. Every walk is planned to be safe, accessible, and enjoyable—giving everyone the chance to experience the health and wellbeing benefits of walking in nature.

But it’s about more than just putting one foot in front of the other—it’s about companionship. Our walks are a chance to share stories, enjoy fresh air, and strengthen friendships. The camaraderie and shared sense of achievement make each outing something to look forward to.

We also provide practical guidance for members with sight loss, including support from trained guides, ensuring everyone feels confident and included.
